Significant updates as of October 1, 2023 (version 1.0)

Clarifications:

• A previous version mistakenly stated that the Browser Extension accessed all web pages opened via the browser. This was incorrect. The extension solely accesses web pages on https://chat.openai.com/ and https://.prompteasily.com:/* as per the security manifest provided to Google. We regret the oversight and assure users that PromptEasily neither collects nor markets browsing data.

• As of version 1.1.3.10, users can link their OpenAI accounts to a PromptEasily account using Google account credentials. As a result, PromptEasily stores Email, Name, Birthday, and Avatar URL of the user.

Terms of Use for Browser Extensions:

The terms herein dictate the utilization of Browser Extensions, also known as “the Service”, which is developed, managed, and hosted by PromptEasily, Corp. (“the Provider” or “PromptEasily”). These terms are supplementary to the general terms for PromptEasily, terms for subscription billing for premium offerings, our usage policy, and our privacy policy.

By either installing, registering, downloading, or using the Browser Extensions offered by PromptEasily, users, henceforth referred to as “the Client”, consent to adhere to the stipulated Terms and Conditions (this “Agreement”). If any terms are unacceptable to the Client, they should refrain from using the Service.

Clients are advised to periodically review our privacy policy to stay informed about any changes. Data acquired from Google APIs will align with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, inclusive of the Limited Use stipulations.

Downloading the Browser Extension:

While PromptEasily doesn’t gather or store personally identifiable data by default, opting into specific features or creating a PromptEasily account might entail data storage. Such data is securely housed in European data centers. For account creation, the stored data includes Email, Name, Birthday, and Avatar URL.

PromptEasily values user privacy and security:

• Does not save entered prompts or transmit personal data.
• Only retains prompt templates and related feedback metrics for features like “Most Popular Prompt Template”.
• Aggregated user data is analyzed for service enhancement and stored on European servers.

Data Sharing:

The Provider does not disseminate specific data details to third parties unless legally mandated. Disabling data collection requires uninstalling the Browser Extension, which is automatically turned off during private browsing. Public data sharing is user-dependent and carried out at their own risk.

Data Sharing Quality:

Users must adhere to quality guidelines when sharing data publicly. Repeated violations may lead to access termination or data sharing privileges being revoked.

Data Security:

PromptEasily employs rigorous security measures to safeguard user data. While optimal security protocols are in place, complete digital transmission security isn’t guaranteed.

The Extension accesses specific web pages: https://chat.openai.com/ and https://.prompteasily.com:/*.

Restrictions on Service Usage:

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification of the Browser Extension is strictly prohibited. PromptEasily is proprietary and not open-source. Legal action may be pursued against unauthorized use or duplication.

IP Address Blocking:

For Service integrity, PromptEasily may block access from certain IP addresses.

Intellectual Property:

Using the Browser Extensions doesn’t grant ownership of any intellectual property in our Services or accessed content.

By adhering to this Agreement, users acknowledge the terms and commit to their observance.
